Is there any information about benjamin towson of kilmolin?
There were 2 daughters, Kate and Mary Benjamin who was born after he died in 1867.
I cannot seem to find a death, his widow married some time later, a burton and they had a daughter.
I would be greatful for any info.

Hi Linda, I know that a female Towson was born in the parish of Powerscourt on 3- 4-1867, father Benjaim, mother Elizabeth Gilbert if that’s any help.
Nivrum.
Hi Linda,
I’ve come across the name a few times, but was never able to decipher the hand-writing, so I’m delighted now to know what it is (I had thought Touron). I have a name from about 15 years earlier – David Towson – listed in the Brassington and Gale survey of 1853 (https://enniskerryhistory.org/home/index.php/archives/1159) – see under Toneygarrow. I’ll correct the spelling now.
David also appears in the Petty Sessions in 1866 (see https://enniskerryhistory.org/home/index.php/share-your-history/petty-session-project).
