I’m delighted to announce that the Book Launch is scheduled for Saturday, 30th April, 2011, and will be held in the Parochial Hall, Enniskerry Village, Co. Wicklow. There is an open invitation to anyone who wishes to attend. I’ll be posting more details closer to the time.

The book cover is one of my favourite images of the village, showing a perspective from the Monastery Road. It was drawn by Thomas Creswick in 1840 and was included in Ireland, its Scenery and Character &c (1841 – 1843). The image was used courtesy of the National Library of Ireland.
