I have compiled all of the headstones that are currently in Curtlestown Graveyard (July 2013). Photos of each headstone are on the Flickr page, named by the surname on the headstone to allow for some primitive searching. Click here to access. Names are pasted below for text search.
Update
These headstones have been transcribed by Joyce Tunstead and you can search the text over at the IGP Website: http://www.igp-web.com/IGPArchives/ire/wicklow/photos/tombstones/markers.htm
Thank You Joyce!
The text diagram (created using Wordle) shows some of the common names – the larger the text, the more common the name (this is based on headstone count, not number of names on a headstone). ‘ll be writing more about the graveyard and some of those interred there for the forthcoming “Gathering our Genealogies” journal which will be published later this year.
Have you information about your family from Enniskerry? Submissions are invited for articles to the 2013 Journal of Enniskerry and Powerscourt Local History. The theme this year is “Gathering our Genealogies“. See here fore more details.

Eric McNulty
HI Eric,
You’ve reminded me that I forgot to put this journal online. Must get around to it. In the mean time you can see the articles in webform at the link:
https://enniskerryhistory.org/home/index.php/archives/category/journal
The top 7 or 8 are from the latest journal issue.
My father’s family are in the graveyard. His father Patrick, mother Julia and his brother.
Also three other brother’s who all died in 1972.
The family this year had the graves cleaned and also bought a gravestone for our uncle’s .
The family name was Gallagher from glencree wicklow. 11 children.
Three lived in England till their deaths.
